Our Mission

U R Special Ministries, Inc. exists to foster self-esteem and healthy lifestyles in needy and at-risk children. We do so by providing new, one-of-a-kind outfits of clothing for the children of Edmond, Oklahoma, and distributing it to them in ways that are celebratory, interactive, and affirming.

Although the founders and principals of U R Special Ministries, Inc. are Christians, we offer our service and love to the children and families in our community without regard to religion, race, or ethnic background.

Winter Distribution Days

U R Special clothed 730 children at our recent Winter Distribution. The children were given a coat and gloves in additional to their new winter outfit.

Spring Distribution dates are:
Friday, March 30
Saturday, March 31

All children (whether or not it's your first visit) should bring proof of Edmond residency (in the form of a utility bill) or proof of enrollment at an Edmond school (report card). And the children must be present to personally select and receive their new clothes.

Our shoppers and seamstresses have been working hard in preparation for the winter distribution. The new outfits are free, fresh, and fabulous! So we hope you'll come join us on distribution weekend.

If you have Edmond children or know Edmond children who would like to participate, we are eager to serve them. And if you can volunteer to help us by working a shift during distribution, please give us a call. For all questions, please feel free to phone Darsi Graham at 340-2799.
