JoAnn Bullard (1939-2024)
JoAnn was a force of nature. Known and loved by many, she devoted her life to helping others and making the most of every single day. She loved serving at U R Special, but volunteering wasn't enough. She decided the little girls needed something more, and that's why many in this circle knew her as "Jewelry JoAnn." She selected each bead and crafted each bracelet and necklace with love and looked forward to meeting each little one that would wear her gift. Her legacy continues as the women of ESA took up her cause to continue to love and support the children of U R Special. We will miss her infectious laugh and hilarious stories! Dear JoAnn, U R Special!
Linda Walts (1944 - 2025)
Rich Walts (1947 - 2020)
Rich & Linda were integral servants at U R Special for many years. From setup to seamstress to Board members, they served in every capacity. Rich always wore a smile and shared his humorous comments about everything. Linda was a feisty soul who loved fiercely and enjoyed meeting the girls who chose the dresses she made.
Both of them loved children and enjoyed making each child feel special. Though they are greatly missed, their example of servanthood continues to inspire the next generation of volunteers to pour into the community.
